The Richard May Award
The Annual Richard May Award was established by the Oklahoma AIDS Care Fund to honor Richard May, a founder of the organization who passed away in March, 2000. The annual recipient is announced at OACF's Red Tie Night gala.
The Richard May Award is given annually in recognition of an individual who has given, in an exceptional way, of their time and talents to promote HIV/AIDS education, research and service. Recipients exemplify quiet strength and compassion, never seeking recognition, which was the spirit of Richard May.
